We are a community of families united by the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into one Christian family at Reeves Chapel UMC. Our purpose is to promote the Kingdom of God, growing together through the sharing of the resources God has given us: our time, talents, finances, and God's boundless love.
We offer a free community breakfast on the first Saturday of every month from 7am to 10:30am. Come and enjoy a full breakfast bar, eggs cooked to order and joyful fellwoship. Donations are accepted to support this and other mission outreach programs
We participate in the Buncombe County Schools BackPack Program, sending home a backpack full of healthy food to children who may not have healthy options otherwise.
We regularly support Transporters for Jesus, a relocation ministry offered by Arnold and Wanda Worley.
For 6 weeks during the summer we host Carolina Cross Connections, a camp for middle school through high school age youth who are in Asheville to experience urban ministry. Every Thursday while they are here we gather for a cookout and a softball game with our friends from the Haywood Street Congregation.
